IAM Valencia: from AI prototype to powerful WordPress website

As a Digital Problem Solver, I regularly see entrepreneurs already well underway with the preparation of their online platform. They experiment with AI tools to create designs and prototypes, but then get stuck on the technical side: how do you translate those ideas into a sleek, working website with all the desired functionalities?

For Iam Valencia – the all-in-one information center for moving to this sunny Spanish city – I had the opportunity to tackle this challenge. The entrepreneur had already designed a stunning visual concept and prototype themselves using various AI tools. I came into the picture to convert this into a stable, scalable platform.

Strategy, affiliate integration, and custom technology

We started with a clear strategy: how do we handle external affiliate services, which features are truly crucial for the user experience, and what should the timeline be? After these insightful and sharp discussions, I took on the challenge of converting the design into robust, flexible WordPress components.

The result is a beautiful mix of clear content blocks and smart customization:

• Flexible ACF content blocks: No cumbersome page builders, but Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) that allow the client to choose, page by page, which blocks are displayed and in what order. This ensures the design always remains sleek and unbreakable.
• Smart multilingualism without plugins: Instead of heavy translation plugins, a clean, simple tree structure within WordPress was chosen. This keeps the website lightning-fast and optimally maintainable.
• Affiliate integrations: MVP solution for working with external services.

From acceptance server to live WordPress website

Once the functionalities were in place, we ran a thorough user test on my acceptance server. Once everything was finalized and the feedback had been processed, the WordPress website could finally move to the client's own hosting environment.

The platform is now rock solid: a rock-solid combination of smart AI preparation and robust, fast web development.
